Pontiac Firebird Trans am 2008
This is a great looking car that could well me made alongside the 2008 Camaro. I would guess that if it is released, it may well have some movie companies thinking about writing another Smokey and the Bandit movie.
I expect at least 400 hp and 0-60 in 5.3 or less.

unsure about the front but the rest is all good and the power Hmmm YUMMY
First the new Mustang, then the Challenger and Camaro concepts and now this. Brilliant.
The only problem as I see it - chances of factory RHD versions: minimal.
Looks like its finally time to enter that green card lottery.
It's nice what a little corporate adversity could achieve: desperation. At this time when they're all in financial trouble, guess what happens -- they go back to their roots. The lesser the resources they have, the more they have to use it wisely. Looks like the bean counters were locked up in a broom cupboard during development. Too much bean counter influence can be bad for the soul. Of the car, that is.
It looks like the Samoan guy who lives next door has customised his Mitsubishi Diamante by painting a big gold bird on the bonnet and tinting the glass.
This car will be driven by the same sort of toothless stinking mullet heads who bought the original Firebird.

The car will be on the same chassis as the Camaro which is incidently designed in Australia. Expect a RHD version.
