Mercedes AMG CLK-GTR

To sight this car would be amazing, to view it up close and personal would be a greater achievment, to sit inside this marvel would be a crowning joy, Getting it to work... Priceless.
Newly produced as the worlds most expensive production car at $1.7m ($2.7m kiwi dollars) it overshadows the Bugatti Veyron in cost but not in operational performance. There are only a very small select view that will ever be built and one such current owner in Los Angelas, a car dealer and former ferrari employee is quoted as saying that he couldn't get it 10 blocks down the road before it broke down. If your pockets are deep the car is expected to sell between NZD$2.3m & NZD$3.0m

The car is an 04. It is a v12 and the owner of Grand Prix motors is suing Mercedes Benz and AMG and NMH? for $1.7 US. If the car does not work it may not be a good one to blog on? 4 have been made since 2002. He brought it directly from MB Germany therefore MB USA is not interested in servicing a car for free that was not intended for the USA. The car needs a new engine after the 10 block drive. It owes him 1.7US

My father has every sympathy with the poor owner, having owned a CL500 with a similar disposition.

Mind you, the unhappy Mercedes experience led him into many years of happy Audi ownership, now followed by BMW ownership.
