Rumor has it in the F1 paddock

Rumor has it that McLaren F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya will leave the team at the end of this season. There is no rumor of where he might go. He is a great driver, and I'd like to think that he would retain a drive for 2007.
It also seems that another rumor is that Kimi has signed for Ferrari.... If that is the case then who will be driving with current world Champion Fernando Alonso at Mclaren next year?

A Kimi/Schumi duo at Ferrari will make an explosive combination. Those two will make a volatile, if exciting partnership and they would definately be a team setup for a new team world championship.

I don't share your view on Juan Pablo though. He might be a good driver, but he's always seemed a bit too agressive to me with erratic driving that sees him off the track as much as on it.

He has the marks of a champion, but he needs to temper that, methinks.

If Schumi does that he is a fool. Kimi is one of the top five drivers in my opinion, and Formula one is both an individual sport and a team sport.

But, maybe you're right, maybe ego trumps logic.

Well I could see Kimi blitzing Schu in the same car. I hope he goes to Ferrari and Schu stays for a beating. JPM may well end up back at Williams or even BMW. I'd like to see Jacques stay, but I would think that JPM if he went to BMW would take his place?
